Flight of the Intrepid 3: Crucible

Earth lies in ruins. Billions are dead. The fleet that was humanity's shield was annihilated on the very eve of peace by the same foe which offered the olive branch. All that stands between the survivors and extinction is the Star Carrier Intrepid and the battered, exhausted men and women of her crew.

Admiral George Oliver knows the truth, even if he can’t bear to say it aloud: Earth cannot be saved.
