Flight of the Intrepid 4: Dark Wake

Lieutenant Kyle Wagner never wanted anything more from the Space Force than his fighter cockpit. But duty called, and now he’s got a smuggler's ship, a skeleton crew, and the worst assignment in the fleet.

The Narragansett was where the insurrection was born while Earth died, and the vessel is keeping secrets. It carries stealth hull plating no human yard could build, shields no cargo hauler has any business carrying, and somewhere behind a sealed bulkhead on her bow, a little ‘extra something’ that her traitor captain never wrote down.

Wagner is going to need all of it.

The Drechnai are running the refugee fleet to ground, falling on them within hours of every jump, and Admiral Oliver is burning through ships and time he doesn't have to spare. The answers lie out there in the dark, and it will take a vessel nobody can see to find them.

With a small ship and an untested crew, Wagner has one chance to learn how the enemy is hunting them down so quickly. If he fails, humanity’s desperate flight will be finished before its barely begun!
